When we first made plans to open a cannabis dispensary in Springfield, MA, we knew we wanted to do things differently at Zaza Green. While we set out to provide some of the best cannabis in the state, we made it our mission to become a valued part of the area by doing our part and giving back. Planting a Greener Future for All Springfield Residents

We recently had the chance to do something we’re truly proud of as a part of Springfield. Our team went out and planted trees in several neighborhoods for free. These trees give back to the community today, but they will also be a valuable part of the city for future generations.

Ensuring Those in Need Enjoyed Thanksgiving Dinner

All people should be able to enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner, but not everyone can afford the meal and many don’t have anyone to turn to that can help. Last November, we donated Thanksgiving turkeys and dinner to many of the Springfield community members in need.

A Look at a Few Events Zaza Green Helped Bring to Life

While giving to charity and offering to help where we are needed is vital to being a valuable part of Springfield, something else is just as important—entertainment! When people have access to things to do to fill their time and make them smile, it can be a positive, life-enriching experience.

Not to mention, we love bringing people together, so they can build relationships with others in the community. Therefore, we’ve always got something we’re planning behind the scenes to make sure people have something fun to look forward to. The Zaza Green has a dedicated community room for this very reason. While there will always be new events in the works at Zaza Green, check out a few of the events we have hosted so far.

Salsa Dancing

Zaza Green hosted an energetic salsa dancing event that brought rhythm and excitement to Springfield’s nightlife scene. Attendees enjoyed lively music, learned new dance moves, and connected with others in a vibrant social atmosphere.

Comedy Show

Laughter filled the air at Zaza Green’s comedy show event, ZaZa’s inaugural Indic-couch Comedy Night, where local comedians showcased their talent and humor. The audience enjoyed an evening of entertainment, witty performances, and shared laughter, and we are looking forward to the next hosted comedy show!

Community Yoga

Zaza Green provided a tranquil space for community members to unwind and rejuvenate through yoga practice. Participants experienced the benefits of mindfulness, relaxation, and physical wellness while connecting with like-minded individuals in a supportive environment. We know a lot of people had a good time during this event, and look forward to a future community yoga event soon.

Puerto Rican Heritage Month

Last November, we had the fantastic opportunity to host an event for Puerto Rican Heritage Month. As a minority-owned dispensary, Zaza remains committed to embracing people from all walks of life in the Springfield area, including celebrating marginalized communities that haven’t always experienced the inclusion they deserve.

Autumn Celebration

Last fall in October we planned and carried out our very first autumn celebration. We pulled the community together for music by DJ Ant, promotions, swag, delicious refreshments, and tons of good fun.
